Privacy
We are a flooring warehouse. We are not in the data business. What follows is the whole of what this website collects and why. If something here is not clear, call or text us on 727-421-7726 and ask.
What you give us on purpose
The form on our contact page asks for your name and phone number, and optionally the floor you are asking about, a rough square footage, and a message. Nothing on it is required except the name and the number, because without those we cannot answer you.
We use it to get back to you about your flooring and to run and improve the business. We may share it with service providers, partners and affiliates who work on our behalf, including for marketing, and we may disclose it where the law requires it or to protect our rights. If the business is ever sold or merged, customer records go with it.
It is stored with Netlify, who host this website, and it shows up on a private page only our staff can sign in to. We keep it while it is useful for serving you and clear it out when it is not.
What the website records on its own
How you found us. When you arrive from an advertisement, a search result or another website, your browser tells us where you came from, and an advertisement link carries a tag identifying the campaign. We save that in your browser’s local storage for up to thirty days so that if you fill in the form later, we can tell which advertisement or search brought you. It contains no name, phone number or address, only the campaign and the page you landed on.
Staying signed in. If you are staff and sign in to the private page, we set one cookie holding a random session number. It identifies the session and says nothing about who you are.
A tip you dismissed. If you close the “add this to your home screen” note, we remember that in local storage so it stays closed.
Advertising measurement. While we are advertising on Facebook or Instagram, Meta’s measurement tools are switched on: a small script in your browser, and a matching report sent from our own server. Between them they tell Meta that somebody who clicked an advertisement looked at a floor, tapped a call or text button, or filled in the form. Meta’s script sets its own cookies to recognise the same visit from one page to the next.
The report from our server includes your name and phone number, scrambled one way before it leaves us. That lets Meta match you against an account it already has without us handing over the number itself, but it is a match, so if you have an account there with the same number, Meta can connect the two. We would rather say that plainly than describe it as anonymous.
This is on while we are advertising and off when we are not. We run no general analytics: nothing here counts your visit for its own sake.
Who else is involved
- Netlify hosts the site and stores the inquiries and staff logins.
- Twilio and Resend may carry the alert that tells us you got in touch. That alert contains what you typed on the form.
- Google Maps provides the map on our contact page. Loading that page loads content from Google, who may set their own cookies. We have no control over what Google does with that, and their privacy policy governs it.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receive the advertising measurement described above while we are running advertisements, including your name and phone number in scrambled form.
Each of these sees only what it needs to do its job.
Children
This site is for people buying flooring. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Asking us to delete it
Tell us and we will. Call or text 727-421-7726, or come to the counter at 10005 W. Hillsborough Ave., and we will delete your inquiry and anything attached to it. You do not have to give a reason, and it will not affect what we charge you.
To clear what your own browser is holding, use its “clear site data” or “clear cookies” option for this website. That removes the items described above.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page. It is worth re-reading if you have not looked at it in a while.
